Who we are

The Sect is a 1920's Mafia themed group found on Final Fantasy 14.We are located on the Mateus Server - but we travel to other servers/Data centers for RP!

The Sect focuses on being a provider for souls who find themselves drawn to being a part of a "family" and seeking out work that may be by less-than-ethical means. The Sect also prides itself on being a pivotal hub of networking for underground "businesses." The Sect resides in the shadows, offering a range of jobs/opportunities in areas thriving with criminal activity.They are made up of members that are intelligent and follow a code of loyalty.

What The Sect is seeking

Characters we're seeking

  • Information Brokers - Characters that buy/sell/and collect information (Players will have to go to venues/public spaces to gather info)

  • Drug Dealers - Characters that sell illegal substances/drugs (Players will have to go to venues/public spaces to sell)

  • Loan Sharks - Characters that ensure the mafia gets debts repaid, even by less-than-ethical means

  • Merchants/Fences - Merchants who buy/sell less-than-legal items/substances/etc.

  • Cleaners - Hired help that literally cleans. They clean up crime-scenes, or deliberately change crime-scenes.

  • Medics/Doctors - Characters that don't ask questions and heal others.

  • Enforcers - Typically Mercenaries - hired to "enforce" the family rules, or those who do not follow the Mafia's requests

  • Lackies - A blanket term for anyone affiliated with the mafia that typically is on the outskirts of the family.

We accept a wide variety of character roles; not just what's found here.

What we seek in our Roleplayers

Well-rounded characters - The inner Sect group does not allow Ashkin, Voidsent, Sineaters, WoL's, Faeries, High magic powered characters, Godlike characters, etc. Basically, we're a humble mafia. We seek Characters that will fit into the theme and are logical, even in a high fantasy setting.Active Roleplayers - Roleplayers that will commit to long-term story lines, will initiate RP and seek it out on their own, and actively participate/initiate Events and Storylines.Maturity - (Regrettably, we have to put this here) - Players that are over the age of 21 and act as they are over the age of 21.

The Kingpins

Sinn Decour

AKA "The Mad Hare" - A ruthless and violent Viera who's rapidly escalated and made a place for himself in the Criminal underground. Sure, he's a law-breaker, but he has his own personal code he follows.

Pascht Decour-Chime

AKA "The Devourer" - A well known figure in Ul'Dah's underbelly, once the Left hand to a now dissolved Syndicate, The Devourer now co-owns The Sect.
She's known for being a ferocious fighter and a shrewd business woman.

The Hands

Toshiya Inoue

Sinn's Left Hand - AKA Blond Bastard - Toshiya is epitome of "started from the bottom now we here." He has worked his way from being a Yakuza grunt, up to being the Left Hand to the Sect's Kingpins. Toshiya is wall of muscle, and a devastating force to reckon with in a fight.

J'roshi Jesal

Pascht's Right Hand - J'roshi has made herself a valuable asset in the criminal underworld through wit alone. Known best as acclaimed botanist and political hobbyist by civilians, she continues to earn her hard won title as The Concierge of Crime by night. the only thing she wears better than silk is secrets.

Underbosses

Rukh Lason

Bookeeper for the Sect - AKA The Mockingbird. Despite her sweet personality; Rukh is a chaotic blend of quirky and meticulous. She blends the art of bookkeeping with unearthing hidden details.

Zorina Azitka

Sect's Underboss - AKA Banshee - A middled aged ex-assassin leading a more “peaceful” life of making/distributing narcotics & training young combatants.

Frey Stellalune

AKA Saint - A Keeper with many masks: the jester, the healer, the spy. On the surface diplomatic and cordial, their ever-present smile hides a ruthless streak as deep as the Witchdrop.

Lirilara Antares

AKA The Thousand Faces - Former Garlean spy and assassin, Lirilara is a master of disguise, tracking, & elimination of targets. Since she blends well, no one knows she is an Underboss except for a few within the Sect family.

Core Members

Deva Elatha

AKA Songbird - Once an unfortunate woman who worked for an opposing Clan, she's joined Sect's fold, and assists with various jobs within the organization.

Meleda Foxfyre

A legal consultant for the Sect; Loopholes, licenses, and trade routes are her forte, and knowing who (and what) goes where is just as appealing as the Vixen herself.

Devon Laurent

A Gunslinger and Beserker, Devon works as the Arms Dealer for the Sect and one of their weapons experts. Devon works out of the Draivian mountains.

Koda Pendant

AKA "Trashcatte" - An orphan and jack-of-all-trades, Koda has endeared herself as a dealer within the Family, but she is known for her charity work. Her talents lie in entertainment and hard work, a blending of action and charm.

Tosin Slavasch

AKA The Tower - Once Pascht's Right Hand, however he stepped down and now works doing odd jobs for the family and moonlights as the Kingping's personal bodyguard.

A syndicate, operating in both the underground and in higher places than one would believe, comprised of criminals, both former and current, those familiar with the underground, and even some veterans of military organizations. Functioning like any organized gang, their main trades and focuses include magic, artifacts, weaponry, information, and even the production and distribution of a few herbal vices which they sell at their Midnight Gold Lounge. Those who find themselves caught in between what is considered moral have found a home here.
